Cultivate, Educate, Originate
Pulpworm is a family owned microenterprise and we specialise in bookselling, publishing and education. Our company ethos is CULTIVATE, ORIGINATE, EDUCATE. We hope to achieve our ethos by contributing to the bookselling business by giving books a second chance to be read through our used bookselling shop on Amazon UK, by giving new writers a chance to publish their books, being publishers who offer a personal touch and a close relationship with our authors and to help and support them on their publishing journey and by offering educational workshops where creativity is a main focus.
Bookselling: Offering high quality second hand books for reasonable prices, we will also be organising kilo sales and book bundle sales very soon.
Since we are working writers ourselves we know what writers need and that is support and mentoring throughout the publishing process and a personal relationship. Pulpworm Limited offer authors:
• 50/50 split on royalties
• Pulpworm ISBN’s for print and ebook editions
• Editing and proofreading before production
• Professionally designed cover with collaboration from the author
• Social media marketing across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat
• Formatting for paperback and ebook editions will be done professionally.
Pulpworm Limited was born in October 2016 and was trading within five days after a spontaneous conversation and decision to run our own enterprise. After starting with a used book shop on Amazon UK, we decided to branch out into publishing and educating because of the in-house expertise of writer and Pulpworm Educational Development Officer Zoe. We have since delivered workshops for Big Ideas Wales as Role Models and workshops for the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in collaboration with the Higher Education Academy. On the publishing front Pulpworm have collaborated with the Royal British Legion and have released WW1 poetry book 'Why?' by Alan F. Rees.
